On Monday, February 4, AISC filed petitions with the Commerce Department and the International Trade Commission (ITC) alleging that unfairly traded imports of fabricated structural steel from China, Canada, and Mexico are causing material injury to the domestic fabricating industry. If successful, the trade case will result in duties on fabricated structural steel imports from these countries.
U.S. fabricator participation in completing the questionnaire is critical to this case; insufficient participation may adversely affect the outcome of the case.
Your responses will be kept strictly confidential by the ITC and will not be disclosed to AISC or the public.
You may still submit a questionnaire even if you did not receive one from the ITC.
For assistance in receiving, completing or submitting the questionnaires please feel free to contact AISC’s trade counsel, Wiley Rein, identified below. There is absolutely no cost associated with Wiley Rein’s help. Responses should be sent to Wiley Rein by COB Tuesday, February 12.
